Day 10 - Setting The Form, Scrapping The Enamel
Uncle Wong had already "cooked" the strips for me.
So today, I set the form for a Payne 100 Taper.
The strips were bound with treads and put in Uncle Wong's custom oven.
The form set and ready for the next step.
Scrapping off the enamel.
This is the special plane used for scrapping off the enamel.
The cutter head is positioned almost 90 degrees.
Uncle Wong unwinding the thread holding the strips during the "cooking".
Scrapping off the enamel slowly.
