Rod Broke

This 3.5 pound temensis broke my brand new bamboo rod.
It took the fly and the reel screamed.
Then the fly line got entangled at the fly reel handle.
While I was trying to remove the fly line from the fly reel handle, it took another hard run.
I heard the sound of something break.
